This is quite a commonly asked question. You may have your new timetable all put in and nicely colour coded BUT it doesn't replicate into the rest of the year! Don't worry there are just a few simple steps to sort this out.
If you have classes in your iDoceo which you are not teaching this year but you want to save details and marks - simply follow these simple steps to 'hide' them. This will keep them on your system but neatly tucked away so as not to interfere with your current years groups
You may have a class that you have carried on from last year. Instead of having to put the class details in laboriously again .. simply follow these steps to copy.
The snipping tool is an excellent way to cut out or cut around digital images so you can use them in imaginative teaching ways. You could cut out one section of a photo for example or cut out a Source for Geography, History or English. It is very easy to do and is free on your PC's

As with everything, the solution is simply to back up your iDoceo. This is a straightforward process you will be glad to know.

Facebook can be used as a fantastic tool for updating friends and family with how you’re getting on in life, that is when you’re not being distracted by another cute cat video! It’s easy to end up adding a lot of personal information to your Facebook profile, most of which you may not want to be accessible by anybody who isn’t your immediate friend or family member. This is especially important to anyone working in education, as you probably don’t want your latest holiday photos to be stumbled upon by your students!
Even if you’re careful about what you post online, you may not be aware that some older posts that you’ve been tagged in could possibly still be accessed by strangers. There’s a privacy setting on Facebook called ‘Friends of Friends’ that a lot of people are unknowingly using, which means that all of your photos can be accessed by anyone who is friends with one of your Facebook friends - that means that if you’re friends on Facebook with your son or daughter, all of their friends might still be able to access your profile!
Read on to find out what your profile looks like to strangers at the moment, how you can ensure the what you post in the future is kept private, as well as how to make sure any of your previous posts are strictly only viewable by your specific friends!
As educators in Lagan College, we know that your time is precious. Finally at the end of the year, we hope that your workload is starting to lift as we head for the end of term! Wednesday 22nd - Google Classrom (Period 3 & 8) G29
Thursday 23rd - iDoceo (Period 2 & 8) G29
Friday 24th - Weebly (Period 3 & 8) G29
There's no need to sign up, simply drop in to either Kim's room on Monday or John's room for the rest to get caught up with the latest technology for teachers! We hope to see you at some point during the week :)
