Like many of us, your iPad can start to act a little slower when it’s gotten too full.
Here are our Top 3 tips to clearing up some free space!
1. Where has all my space gone?
If you open the Settings app and then go to General > Usage, after a few moments your iPad will present a list of all of the things that are taking up free space. This will give you a good overview of what is taking up the most space on your iPad!
2. Delete apps you don’t need
It can be very easy over time to download a lot of apps that you hardly ever use. Any app that you have downloaded once can always be downloaded again for free in the future, so it’s a great idea to go through your iPad and delete any app that you don’t use regularly. To delete an app, hold your finger on it's icon until it starts to 'wiggle', then press the small 'x' on the top left.
3. Delete and transfer photos
Just like with apps, it’s a great idea to go through your photos and videos and delete any that you don’t need - videos in particular can quickly take up a lot of space! You can then connect your iPad to a computer using your USB cable and transfer across the remaining photos/videos that you want to have a copy of, whilst freeing up some free space!
