Editing your pages works exactly the same. You can replace the titles and main text of your pages with whatever you like and drag and drop in any of your images. You can even copy and paste sections of content that you have already created in Microsoft Word etc.
When you are editing text, the Formatting Bar will let you change things like Font, Size, Colour etc, just like in any other Word Processer You can also add things like Text Boxes and Shapes by clicking on their buttons on the toolbar on the top. |
By clicking on the Add Pages button on the top left, you can easily add a new Chapter, Section or extra pages. You can also choose from a variety of different layouts for your pages.
You can also 'Right Click' on a page you have already made and select Duplicate Section to copy a design you have already made |
The Inspector is a floating window that you can toggle on and off by clicking it's button on the top right of iBooks Author.
The Inspector lets you change many advanced options of loads of different things, such as the wrapping of text, adding borders and shadows to your images, as well as adjusting the properties of tables and charts. |
